All work is undertaken after an inspection of the instrument in person and detailed conversation with you, the customer. I try and tailor every repair and set up to your needs making an instrument play to its full potential. With all work undertaken I offer “free tweaks” allowing you to take the instrument away, play it for a week or two and see how you get on. If anything needs adjusting, feel free to bring it back and I will take care of that, free of charge. Feel free to contact me for further information in regards to any work.

The smallest adjustments can make the world of difference to how an instrument feels and plays, repairs or “minor surgery” on an instrument always helps. Some of these services include re-strings, set ups, refrets, wiring repairs, replacement of parts such as nuts or saddles.
Most instruments can be completed with in a few days, ensuring that you can get you playing as soon as possible.

Restoration
These services are what I consider “deep surgery” on an instrument, such as headstock/ neck repairs, brace repairs, bridge replacements and crack repairs. As with all work undertaken, each repair will be tailored to the instruments needs, ensuring that it gets back to full playing ability.

Custom builds
Always wanted certain things but could never find them on a standard shop brought guitar? Well I I specialize in both acoustic and electric guitars, as well ukuleles and various other stringed instruments. This process includes sitting down and planning all the specifics of your dream instrument, from choice of woods to inlay and pick ups.
